Refund Policy

At Fresh Drop Laundry Co., we work hard to provide high‑quality laundry services. Because our services involve time, labor, and handling of customer garments, our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent.

1. Service Fees Are Generally Non‑Refundable

All payments made for laundry services are non‑refundable, except in specific situations outlined below. Once a service has been completed, we cannot issue refunds for:

  • Dissatisfaction with scent, folding style, or personal preference

  • Normal wear and tear during washing or drying

  • Items damaged due to manufacturer defects or improper care labels

  • Items left in pockets (pens, markers, gum, etc.) that cause damage

2. Refunds for Service Errors

If we make a clear mistake — such as failing to wash items, returning items still soiled, or mixing up orders — we may offer:

  • A complimentary re‑wash, or

  • A partial refund, depending on the situation

Refunds are issued only after reviewing the claim.

3. Lost or Damaged Items

If an item is lost or damaged due to our error:

  • Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery

  • We may request photos, receipts, or additional details

  • Compensation, if approved, is limited to the reasonable value of the item, not exceeding 10 times the cost of the service for that load

We do not reimburse for:

  • Items with pre‑existing damage

  • Items without care labels

  • Items that shrink, fade, or wear due to normal washing

4. Missed Pickups or Cancellations

If you cancel or reschedule:

  • Before the scheduled pickup time → No fee

  • After the scheduled pickup time or if we arrive and laundry is not available → A missed‑pickup fee may apply

Refunds are not issued for missed pickups.

5. How to Request a Refund or File a Claim

To request a refund or report an issue, contact us at:

Please include:

  • Your full name

  • Order date

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos (if applicable)

We will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days.

6. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
